Even though mindfulness have been a part of the Buddhist tradition for centuries, however in the 1970s it had been determined as a source of curative intervention for ordinary psychological issues related to anxiety, depression, stress and worry. With the paradigm being shifted towards the digital, many mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) are being delivered more and more through the internet. Although the efficacy of face-to-face MBIs for mental health is quite evident from numerous meta-analyses, a meta-analysis of online MBIs on mental health is lacking. The aim of this study is to explore the outcomes of the meta-analysis that was conducted using fifteen RCTs.
